The mill
Khulna is where Bangladesh's jute belt meets the sea. Our factory sits at Tiabunia, Gutudia, in Dumuria upazila, close to the raw jute markets of the south west and close to Mongla port.
Raw jute comes in from local growers and dealers. It is graded, softened, batched, spun into yarn, and woven into cloth and sacks under one roof. Because the spinning is ours, we control the count, the batching oil and the finish, and a buyer's specification does not have to travel through a chain of traders before it reaches the machine.
Most of our shipments go out as food grade yarn and food grade sacks. Both are batched with vegetable oil instead of mineral jute batching oil, so the bags carry coffee, cocoa, sugar, grain, cotton seed and nuts without tainting them.

01 · Spinning
Single and multiple ply yarn spun on our own frames, from fine CRP and CRT grades down to heavy sacking counts. Food grade batching available on every quality. Full grade table below.

02 · Carding
The continuous ribbon of carded fibre that comes off the carding and drawing frames, before it is spun. Bought by felt and needle punch plants, automotive interior suppliers and mills that blend jute with cotton or viscose.

03 · Cloth
Plain woven jute cloth on the roll, the same cloth our hessian sacks are cut from. Bag makers, nurseries, geotextile and erosion control, packaging, upholstery backing and event decor all buy it by the roll.

04 · Cloth
Heavy sacking cloth, woven double warp with a single weft so it takes weight and rough handling. Sold on the roll to bag makers and packers who cut and stitch their own sacks. Carries the traditional blue stripe unless you ask for plain.

05 · Sacks
Plain woven sacks for the soft commodity trade. Breathable, food safe and made to the sizes the coffee and cocoa markets work with. Herackle sewn with a selvedge mouth, printed with your estate or lot marking.

The workhorse of the trade. Twill woven sacking for grain, sugar, rice, cotton seed, flour, cement and animal feed. Standard or VOT (vegetable oil treated) for food grade cargo, plain or printed to your marking.

About these numbers. They are the specifications most export orders use, and every one of them is a starting point. Size, weight, porter, shots, treatment, mouth finish, marking and packing are made to your requirement. Send us your spec sheet or a sample and we quote against it.
Yarn grades
The grade tells you the fibre quality. The count, measured in pounds per spindle, tells you how heavy the yarn is. We spin 6 to 48 lb across the CB and CR grades, so most buyers pick the grade first and then the count.

Every quality is available in single and multiple ply, with food grade batching and your preferred winding. Yarn goes out in pallet packing or truss packing, whichever suits your handling at the other end. Tell us the grade, count, ply and quantity and we quote per metric ton.
From field to container
Six stages, all on one site. This is the order the work actually runs in, and it is where you can check progress if a shipment is tight.
Raw jute is bought from the southern markets and sorted by grade and cutting before it goes near a machine.
Fibre is softened and oiled. Vegetable oil for food grade orders, standard JBO where the buyer allows it.
Carding, drawing and spinning to the agreed count and ply. This is where your specification is fixed.
Yarn goes to the looms for hessian or sacking cloth at the porter and shots you asked for.
Cutting, hemming, sewing, printing your marking, then baling and weighing.
Stuffing at Chittagong or Mongla, with documents prepared for your L/C or contract terms.
Where we ship
Our containers go out mainly to spinners, packers, commodity exporters and bag traders. Some markets take yarn, some take finished sacks, and a few take both. If your country is not on this list it only means we have not shipped there yet.
